It may be the last talk of the semester but it ended on a good one! Our friends, Andy and Sarah (some of you may remember Andy from your COCS labs when he put some lovely Cyclopentolate in your eyes) came up to Bradford to talk contact lenses! Taking us through the current market for contact lenses, the history of contact lenses and the newest technology in contact lenses, the talk was extremely interesting and beneficial for all members! For those of you interested, some links to some of the recommended apps and programs offered by Bausch & Lomb! http://www.academyofvisioncare.com/uk/en/ https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/contact-lens-toric-eyeapp/id542693675?mt=8 https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Bausch+%2B+Lomb So its BOOSA's final major social of the semester! This years Christmas feast was highly enjoyable for all that attended. With the Turl's Green being the venue this year, members enjoyed a sparkling wine with a filling and delicious meal! Thanks to all that attended along with our sponsors, Vision Express and Bausch & Lomb. A big congratulations to Gareth Davey, who will be the University of Bradford's Student AOP Rep! We wish him good luck in his new post!
