Glaucoma is a serious eye condition which affects 250 000 people in England and Wales. It is most common in people aged over 40 years however, it can also affect young children as well. Therefore in order to mark World Glaucoma Week this year, people around the world have been raising awareness as well as raising money for charity. BOOSA decided to get involved this year by starting on a twitter campaign! We tweeted facts about glaucoma all day on the 15th March 2014.
