About us
Access to Eyecare is a new initiative by the University of Bradford's School of Optometry and Vision Science to engage with the local community and provide a much needed eyecare for the homeless. Founded by students at the university, the initiative will provide comprehensive eye exams and will be carried out in the university's Eye Clinic on Saturday 7th February 2015 by third year Optometry students.
With a significant homeless population, Bradford has limited access to eye care for the homeless. We wish to fill this gap and give access to eye care to all. In association with our partners, Access to Eyecare, will not only help those who need help, but will encourage further engagement form the world of optometry and the general public. |
